Animation
Various animation projects.
An animation from the "24-hour Animation Challenge 2020". This is a competition of 5-person teams made up of students who make 30-second films within the set 24-hours. The theme was based on our COVID experience and what we value now. I worked on color and backgrounds.
An animation I worked on with four other people for the "24-hour Animation Challenge 2019". The theme was "What does “family” mean to you?" and teams were to make a 30-second animation. I worked on color, a background, and collecting sounds.
A rotoscoping assignment where the requirements included a 15-second clip of two people doing something together. We drew over a live-action video to create the animations.
Inspired by "Bambi Meets Godzilla", created by Marv Newland. The assignment was to create our own surprise, following music that did not give away the ending. I chose the characters Calcifer and Jiji from Studio Ghibli films.
The final project for the class: a Google Doodle. We had to choose an event, person, or group to focus on and have a part of the animation loop at the end. I chose the band the Gorillaz and loop started at 8 seconds, but the code did not transfer.
